The STS-124 shuttle mission delivered the pressurized module and robotic arm of the Japanese Experiment Module, known as "Kibo" (hope), to the International Space Station. It was the second of three flights to launch components to complete the Kibo laboratory, and the 26th shuttle mission to the International Space Station. The mission included three spacewalks. It was also the first mission set to music by video producer Marc Frochtzweig for SpaceGaze, incorporating shots of Discovery and her crew along with the music of the Dandy Warhols.
